Reno Photographer | Fall Into… { Personal }

It’s finally starting to feel a bit more fall-like here in Reno. The air is starting to get a bit more crisp and making stews and soups doesn’t sound so outlandish anymore. I love living in Reno and getting to experience all four seasons for the most part. While fall is not my absolute favorite season, there’s much to be said about football, apple orchards and pumpkin patches, pumpkin spice lattes and salted caramel mochas from Starbucks, crisp air which calls for sweaters, boots and fun scarves and all the colors as they start to change over from summer into fall and then winter.

Fall is a very busy time of the year for your Reno photographer and most families, I imagine, but I think it’s always nice to take a breather and enjoy everything fall brings with it. I love taking time to let my boys run through the fallen leaves and jump in them, throw them…just be kids! It’s pure joy to them and it costs just a bit of time for me. Seriously, what isn’t there to love about fall?! My friend Christine in South Africa also wrote about something seasonal here! Take a second to read her thoughts, too! What’s your favorite part about fall? Mine really are those wonderful, beautiful leaves and I’m keeping a close watch daily so I can capture colors like I did in this photo from last year!

Christine - LOVE your children’s expressions! I’m a summer girl myself, but my favourite thing about fall (we call it autumn here) is the leaves changing colour!

Karen Cooley - Look at your adorable boys!!! My kiddos also love tossing leaves around and jumping in them. It’s such a fun season!

Danielle Dutta - I LOVE Reno in Autumn. Walking along Truckee River Whitewater Park, watching the trees change colors. *sigh* Spent more then one Halloween in the River walk district. I’m so jealous you live there, Huong!

Kristina - what a cute picture!! I love fall too. It’s the best time of year

Anya Wait - Fall leaves and hot apple cider!

Patricia Knight - There are few places here in the desert to capture the changing of the seasons, so like you, I have to keep a close eye on the leaves. I could easily blink and miss it all together.

Ally Davis - I LOVE Fall. Great post and great image to go along with it!!

Sarah Sunstrom - Isn’t fall the best! I love me some pumpkin spice lattes!

Brandi Kogut - All this talk of fall is making me want to run out and get a pumpkin spice latte. <3 Love the photo of your boys; can't wait to see this year's.

Tara Colburn - I’m so jealous of you guys and your pretty trees, ours have barely changed at all!

I am LOVING the faces your boys are making, too cute!
