Reno Wedding Photography | What to Wear { Winter Wedding Inspired }

I know. I get it. I, too, get that nagging feeling every time I stare at my clothes and I say to myself ”I don’t have anything to wear!” Well, that’s why I’m here for you every Wednesday with “What to Wear” so you are inspired for our upcoming portrait session with yours truly, your favorite Reno photographer. Go ahead, feel free to read and be visually inspired. Take what you love and leave what you don’t, but if you’re still at a loss, pick up that phone and let’s discuss this well before your portrait session so you can relax and enjoy the experience.

There is no question I’m a romantic at heart and winter weddings have always stood out to me. It’s probably because it’s one of my most favorite seasons and probably because I’ve always dreamed of a peaceful landscape covered in a blanket of untouched snow, a gorgeous bride and groom snuggled into each other’s love and the snow falling so perfectly on the entire scene (and a kicker light behind them and a strobe at 45 degrees to camera right…BOOM). Earth to Huong! Okay, okay, I’m sorry. Today’s inspiration for What to Wear Wednesday is obviously winter wedding inspired. SIGH!

You now know I’m dying to shoot a winter wedding, but this is not peak wedding season. In place of shooting a winter wedding, I went searching for winter wedding inspiration and I found some fantastic dresses as I was surfing and put them together in this little inspiration board for you. I bet you can’t guess my favorite dresses. Did you get married in the winter? If so, what did you wear? I just love the idea of being able to layer and wear “shoulders”, “shrugs” or something equally amazing. And I love the idea of shooting a gorgeous full gown on a blanket of untouched snow, but yes, I know, I already mentioned that!

Are you planning a winter wedding for 2013? Please contact me at 775.233.8382 or email shootme@huongforrest.com to discuss your wedding photography services. I would love to be your Reno wedding photographer.
